Woody by Ehlers

Summary by Ehlers

Summary: When I started this mod, I only set a few guidelines: I wanted it to be cheap, or preferably free, it had to be within my basic skill-set, and it had to shine. I found a piece of Christmas tree in my parents garden, and the idea of a wooden egg popped up. When I began modding, I found out the full egg-shape wouldn't be doable, as I didn't have enough wood, which forced me to go for this shape. As for the inside, I thought the idea of some hidden details to contrast the shiny wood was pretty nifty. It's leftover pieces of vinyl wrap, I had from engine styling of my car.

All in all, I'm pretty satisfied, however I would have liked to have gotten further earlier, as the last days were rather stressful. Should I change just one thing, I'd have liked to burn the logo instead of drawing with a CD-marker. Other than that I really like the look. Especially all the faces you can spot from the knots and lines and the light reflecting.
